Job summary

Anova, a division of Shiel Sexton, seeks a Quality Manager II to lead quality management across large commercial construction projects. You will provide independent oversight of contractor quality programs, verify compliance with OPR and contract docs, and mentor junior quality staff to promote best practices.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 7+ years in QA/QC for commercial construction, and proficiency with Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of QA/QC or quality management experience in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide quality management policies for commercial projects.
• Lead quality management on large or multiple capital projects ensuring OPR alignment.
• Provide independent oversight of contractor quality programs and documentation.
• Conduct field observations, audits, and NCRs to verify quality and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Owners, project teams, and inspectors to resolve quality concerns.
• Monitor quality metrics, issue logs, NCRs, and testing documentation for leadership review.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout by verifying deliverables and punch lists.
• Mentor junior Quality Manager I personnel and promote best practices.
• Represent Owner in quality meetings and field coordination with stakeholders.
