Job summary

Kratos Microwave, Inc., a Kratos' company, is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to establish and maintain a comprehensive QMS compliant with AS9100 at our San Jose, CA site. You will lead quality teams across engineering, production, and supply chain, ensuring product quality, safety, and reliability for aerospace programs.

This role requires ability to obtain security clearance if needed. The candidate will drive continuous improvement, lead audits, and report metrics to executives while

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive quality management experience in aerospace/defense or precision manufacturing.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a QMS compliant with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
• Lead AS9100 audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
• Prepare quality performance reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive data-driven decision making and CAPA for quality issues.
• Support customer inspections and audits with cross-functional teams.
