Job summary

STS Aerospace seeks a Senior Quality Manager to lead the Quality organization and drive a culture of quality across our aerospace operations. You will ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements while acting as the primary customer contact for quality concerns.

The role demands leadership across cross-functional teams, data-driven decision making, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Strong communication and accountability are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading quality initiatives in aerospace or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute the vision of the Quality organization.
• Maintain quality systems per AS9100 and NADCAP.
• Lead corrective actions to eliminate recurrence of nonconformances.
• Implement process controls and tools to meet customer requirements (PPAP, standard work, SPC).
• Coordinate continuous improvement with production and other departments.
• Manage data collection and reporting of quality metrics.

Job Description

The Senior Quality Manager is the leader of the Quality organization and is responsible for driving and executing the vision of the organization. The Senior Quality Manager is responsible for driving a quality culture in an Aerospace organization and ensuring compliance to customer and industry requirements. The Senior Quality Manager is accountable for maintaining and/or improving all aspects of the Quality System, including AS9100, NADCAP. In addition, this position is to be the prime customer contact related to quality concerns.

  • Ensure company meets requirements as supplied by internal procedure, customer or industry standards
• Corrective Actions
  • Maintain root cause and corrective action system that eliminates duplicate nonconformance by effectively implementing corrective actions
• Process Control
  • Implement tools necessary to ensure process control and comply with customer requirements such as PPAP, standard work, SPC, KPC, etc
• Coordinate, participate and lead continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with Production
• Other
  • Any other tasks, duties or responsibilities requested by your supervisor
  • Manage data collection, analysis and reporting of quality data such as rework, scrap and cost of quality

Qualifications

College degree preferred, at least 5 years quality experience in manufacturing
