Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., through Spirit Defense, seeks a Quality leader to direct quality activities across acquire, define, produce or service processes and to implement robust policies, processes and improvements. You will work with suppliers, customers and regulators to ensure quality and compliance while driving cross-functional teams and data-driven metrics.

A U.S. Secret Clearance is required; DoD considerations and a high school diploma are noted, with leadership and QMS experience

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.
• 2+ years of related Quality experience.
• Candidate must be able to secure program access approval.

Responsibilities

• Leads quality teams across acquire, define, produce or service processes.
• Establishes, oversees, and administers processes, policies, and best practices.
• Interfaces with organizations, suppliers, customers, and regulators on priorities and progress.
• Provides organizational vision and strategic quality plans, policies and procedures.
• Communicates, educates, trains and coaches on Quality policies.
• Delivers cross-functional leadership and Quality technical expertise.
