Job summary

The Ian Martin Group is seeking a Senior Quality Advisor to lead QA and QC for the EPC2 subsea scope of Rovuma LNG. You will partner with OneSubsea to plan audits, verify QA procedures for engineering deliverables and procurement, and coordinate inspectors across sites in Malaysia, Europe, and Norway.

The role requires up to international travel, reporting to the EPC2 Project Manager with a dotted line to Upstream Quality Manager, based in Texas with periodic travel to Houston.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality management on capital projects in oil & gas.
• Hands-on experience with subsea equipment (trees, manifolds, umbilicals).
• Experience across multiple manufacturing sites with QA/QC oversight.
• Experience governing QA/QC of engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Audits/assessments of contractors and suppliers including third-party inspection.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality oversight for EPC2 subsea equipment with OneSubsea interface.
• Coordinate audits and assessments with engineering and procurement surveillance plans.
• Ensure QA procedures exist for engineering deliverables and procurement scopes.
• Coordinate third-party inspectors at manufacturing sites worldwide (Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Norway).
• Track critical manufacturing scopes across Europe and Asia; ensure ITP points are met.
• Oversee quality for long-lead orders including large valve orders (≈65 valves).
• Schedule and close out contractor and supplier audit findings.
• Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and prevent issues.
