Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support the Project Quality Plan across engineering, procurement, and construction for the Louisiana LNG project. Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in EPC LNG projects preferred.
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes (ASME, API).
• IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification required.
• Six Sigma or Lean certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) across engineering, procurement, construction to ensure quality commitments.
• Review project schedules for quality-related activities to ensure PQP compliance.
• Plan, execute, and manage internal and external quality audits and surveillances.
• Incorporate QA requirements for suppliers/subcontractors into requisitions.
• Manage supplier quality including prequalification, bid evaluation, QMS assessment, and review of quality documentation.
• Support construction quality activities and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Lead PBQ engagement sessions and quality observations to strengthen culture.
