Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Lab Technician in Texas to preserve, prepare, and test lab samples and maintain the Lab Quality Management System (LQMS). The role involves running complex analytical procedures, preparing COAs, and supporting investigation testing across the network.

Strong attention to detail and experience with ISO/17025, 9001, SQF, and IPEC requirements is beneficial. Responsibilities include updating procedures, training on updated instrumentation, and ensuring

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a science related field (Chemistry).
• 4-year minimum working in an external lab or manufacturing environment.
• ICP, IC, GC Mass Spec, HPLC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of analytical test methodology and the ability to analyze and interpret results.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analytical testing using complex to specialized lab equipment, including preserving samples, completing sample preparation, documenting, and communicating results.
• Conduct and support investigative testing for samples received across the network.
• Review and record test results, generate COA’s and release finished product based on results; perform Work Order review and assure all batches released have a COA on file.
• Update instrumentation, methodologies and training documents.
• Execute retain sample process and maintenance.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming material.
• Support dispositioning of non-conforming material and perform related duties as needed.
