Job summary

Hawkins Inc. in Texas seeks a Senior Quality Lab Technician to preserve, prepare, and analyze lab samples, supporting the Lab Quality Management System (LQMS) with complex instrumentation and procedures.

You will perform analytical testing, generate COAs, update methodologies, and collaborate with operations to ensure compliance with ISO 17025, 9001, SQF and IPEC requirements. Ideal candidates hold a 4-year science degree, lab/manufacturing experience, and expertise with ICP, IC, GC Mass Spec,

Qualifications

4-year degree in a science-related field (Chemistry).
4-year minimum experience in an external lab or manufacturing environment.
ICP, IC, GC Mass Spec, and HPLC experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of analytical test methodology and ability to interpret results.
Attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

Analytical testing using complex lab equipment and documenting results.
Conduct and support investigative testing for samples across the network.
Review test results, generate COAs, and release finished product with COA on file.
Update instrumentation, methodologies and training documents.
Execute retain sample process and maintenance.
Identify and quarantine non-conforming material; support dispositioning.
