Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is hiring a Quality Inspector III to perform advanced inspections on gas and steam turbine components, using visual, dimensional, and nondestructive testing methods. This role leads inspections, mentors junior inspectors, and drives quality across projects.

You will support root cause investigations, review engineering documentation, and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, contributing to continuous improvement and safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline with 7+ years of related quality inspection experience.
• High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of related inspection experience.
• ASNT Level II or III certification in nondestructive testing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T interpretation and dimensional analysis.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced quality inspections of gas and steam turbine components.
• Lead complex inspections and provide guidance to Quality Inspectors I and II.
• Develop disposition recommendations and participate in root cause investigations.
• Review documentation, drawings, specs, and work instructions for compliance.
• Coordinate quality activities with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers.
• Support audits and maintain quality documentation and reporting.
