Job summary
Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Quality Assurance Field Service Engineer to ensure field activities, outages, repairs, inspections, and commissioning meet quality standards and customer requirements. You will act as the field quality representative, drive defect prevention, and support continuous improvement across projects.
Ideal candidates have a BS in a technical field (or 5+ years in related roles), strong English communication skills, knowledge of SAP, and willingness to travel up to
Qualifications
- BS or higher in a technical field or 5+ years of related experience.
- Fluency in English; Spanish/Japanese a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP and quality documentation systems.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement outage and site-specific Quality Plans.
- Review ITPs, work instructions and quality documentation.
- Perform field audits and surveillance of outage activities.
- Verify compliance with contractual requirements and engineering specs.
- Ensure quality records and turnover packages are complete.
- Facilitate FME compliance and other quality-critical processes.
- Identify nonconformances and manage NCR processes.
- Participate in RCA and CAPA activities.
- Prepare Quality Post Outage Reports.
- Mentor field personnel on quality requirements.
- Travel up to 50% for projects and outages.
