Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technician coursework is a plus.
• ASQ certification is preferred.
• Six+ years in a production environment within related industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical inspection to ensure quality aspects of the job are met exactly.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, travelers, specifications to generate precise inspection reports.
• Generates detailed inspection and nonconformance reports as necessary.
• Audits Quality Control processes to ensure compliance to standards.
• Operates and programs manual CMMs and trains Level 1/2 inspectors.
• Interfaces with suppliers and customers on quality-related issues as necessary.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
