Job summary

Hunting is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to inspect precision machined parts, assemblies, tooling, and fixtures on-site in Texas. You will read blueprints and specifications, perform in-process and final inspections, and escalate nonconformances. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of related inspection experience, a high school diploma, and may hold ASQ certifications. Travel is limited, and overtime/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or ASQ Certified Auditor preferred.
• At least 4 years of directly related inspection experience.
• Drug screen, background check, physical required.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands blueprints, assemblies, part lists, procedures manuals.
• Performs receiving, in-process and final inspection, and customer sorting.
• Records inspection results and initiates nonconformance reports.
• Performs first article inspection on valves, couplings, and raw materials.
• Reviews supplier documentation for PO compliance.
• Acts as Quality representative in Material Review Board.
