Job summary

H&K Tool & Machine Company in Huntingdon Valley, PA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect and evaluate tools and products, ensuring conformance to drawings, specs, and customer requirements. You will document results, support ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 audits, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and QA teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on quality inspection experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management requirements applicable to inspection and quality records.
• Coordinate Reading and interpreting GD&T on drawings to determine conformance.
• Proficient with inspection tools and measurement equipment including CMMs, micrometers, calipers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• English communication proficiency and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, parts, subassemblies, and finished products using physical inspection methods and measurement equipment.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, inspection plans and other documentation.
• Document and maintain inspection results with traceability to parts, drawings and customer requirements.
• Support internal and external quality audits by providing records and information as needed.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and QA to identify, clarify, and correct quality issues.
