Job summary

KMM Group is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector / QC Technician Level 3 to join our precision manufacturing team in the United States. You will perform various inspections on tight-tolerance parts, interpret complex drawings, and support CAPA and MRB activities to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, AS9100, and FDA requirements.

You will work with CMMs, vision and optical systems, and traditional gauges, collaborating with machinists and engineers to prevent defects and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality inspection or QC technician experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance parts produced by CNC, grinding, EDM, Swiss machining, or similar processes.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, with emphasis on ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with regulated quality systems such as ISO 13485:2016, AS9100, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, or ITAR environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article, first piece, in-process, receiving, and final inspections on precision machined and ground components.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and document results per GDP, ISO 13485, and FDA requirements.
• Support nonconformance reporting, MRB, CAPA, and corrective actions.
• Use data to monitor CpK/PPK, trends, and statistical decision making.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production leads to resolve issues at the source.
• Mentor junior inspectors and contribute to audit readiness and SOP improvements.
