Job summary

Teksky LLC in Hicksville, NY seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on precision dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure conformity to engineering specs and customer requirements.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on use of micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs, with Calypso software experience and solid GD&T interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM.
• Proficiency operating CMM equipment and Calypso software.
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing/blueprint interpretation knowledge.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Operate CMM to inspect complex components and verify specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and routine inspections.
• Document inspection results and prepare quality reports for internal and customer requirements.
• Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances to production and engineering teams.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues.
• Maintain and verify calibration status of inspection equipment.
