UCT is seeking a talented Quality Inspector II to join our Austin, TX facility. The role focuses on advanced mechanical inspections, CMM programming, and GD&T interpretation to ensure product conformance to specifications.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive quality in new product introductions and improvements. Candidates should have 5+ years in CMM programming, strong measurement techniques, and proficiency with Mitutoyo/Zeiss CMMs.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASQ certification preferred; experience in production is expected.
• 5+ years CMM programming experience required; laser tracker and Mitutoyo/Zeiss exposure a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced mechanical inspections including first article, in-process, and final checks.
• Develop and optimize CMM programs; generate precise inspection reports.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Audit quality processes; support NDIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data and produce SPC/CPK style reports; assist in reverse engineering.
