Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Quality Inspector II in Gurnee, IL to perform detailed visual inspections of circuit board assemblies and verify setup before production. This full-time role offers growth through mentoring others and enforcing stringent quality standards, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive hourly pay.

You will engage with customer quality systems, analyze defects, and serve as the final checkpoint prior to shipment, ensuring products meet specifications and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in quality inspection, especially with circuit board assemblies, preferred.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions and memos; proficient with Windows-based software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data collection and drawing valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Perform intricate visual inspections of circuit board assemblies to ensure quality.
• Verify correct machine setup prior to production runs.
• Read and apply documentation from reference materials.
• Apply inspection methods (first article checks, sampling, 100% inspection).
• Access customer quality inspection systems and communicate quality issues.
• Determine causes of defects and refer findings for correction.
• Act as final checkpoint for finished goods prior to shipment.
• Train other employees in Quality Control processes.
