Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in automotive manufacturing.
• 1+ year of assembly experience preferred.
• Proficient with inspection gauges and metrology equipment.
• Familiar with containment processes and nonconforming material handling.
• Ability to document results clearly and maintain records.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and dock audits of parts.
• Record inspection results in Excel, Access or QA software.
• Monitor nonconforming material and containment areas.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Apply GD&T and engineering specs to part evaluation.
• Communicate nonconformances to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain 5S standards in the quality department.
• Support gauge special duties as required.
