Job summary

Harbor Ind. is seeking a Quality Inspector/Auditor II to guide junior staff and assist supervisory roles in performing inspections using standardized methods and multiple instruments. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include material and product inspection, documenting findings, and supporting routine audits and lean projects while training junior inspectors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of calipers, tape measures, and other quality devices for accuracy.
• Understanding of blueprint reading and product structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during manufacturing.
• Inspect materials, parts, and products at different production stages.
• Record observations and recommend process improvements.
• Lead in enforcing work instructions and assist in internal audits of procedures.
• Train Quality Inspector/Auditor I and support lean projects.
