Job summary

Aleron through Acara Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector III for a 6-month temp assignment in Bertram, TX. You will inspect propulsion components and sub-assemblies, verify compliance with design specs, and document non-conformances while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience with standards and similar quality, military, or government standards in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and sub-assemblies, with a focus on propulsion products and integration activities.
• Develop and execute inspection programs to verify compliance with design requirements, specifications, and testing standards.
• Document non-conformances, quarantine non-compliant products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
• Track production quality metrics, including first-pass yield and non-conformance trends, using basic statistical analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain tool control, calibration, and metrology validation processes while supporting Lean initiatives, 5S workplace organization, and continuous quality improvement.
