Job summary

Aleron seeks an Advanced Component Level Electronics Quality Inspector to support inspection, quality assurance, and compliance for advanced electronic and electromechanical products. You will perform detailed inspections, evaluate defects, verify corrective actions, and ensure adherence to military and customer quality standards.

You’ll collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams to drive quality improvements and maintain traceability across production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in quality inspection/QA/manufacturing inspection or component-level electronics inspection.
• 3+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specs.
• 2+ years root-cause investigations, nonconformance evaluations, and corrective-action verification.
• 2+ years quality documentation, inspection reports, and traceability records.
• Current or previous certifications in J-STD-001, J-STD-002, IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750 or related quality standards.
• 2+ years of X-Ray inspection and analysis of electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of electronic components, materials, assemblies, and finished products.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, workmanship standards, and customer requirements.
• Inspect products at multiple stages of manufacturing and assembly.
• Evaluate defects in real time and identify potential quality concerns.
• Determine root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain traceability and ensure proper labeling of materials and assemblies throughout production.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, nonconformance reports, and quality documentation.
• Support audits, process inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues.
• Review rework activities and verify compliance with procedures and specs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and process effectiveness.
