Job summary

Mohr Talent is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to join our Starkville, Mississippi site. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail and experience in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment.

Senior Quality Inspector
Location: Starkville, MS
Schedule: Full-Time | 100% Onsite

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with an established manufacturerthat is hiring a Senior Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

This is a strong fit for someone with hands-on inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and a background working in a quality-controlled manufacturing environment. The right candidate should be comfortable reading drawings, using precision measuring tools, documenting inspection results, and supporting first article inspections.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and measurement inspections.
• Review drawings, engineering requirements, work instructions, and quality procedures.
• Complete inspection reports, logs, quality records, and tracking spreadsheets.
• Identify and document nonconforming products.
• Support corrective actions and confirm rework has been completed properly.
• Communicate quality issues with production, supervisors, and internal teams.
• Help maintain tracking for vendors, calibrated tools, and inspection records.
• Assist with internal and external quality audits.
• Train and support production employees on quality expectations.

What They're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Quality certifications highly preferred
• 5+ years of inspection experience in a documented quality management system.
• Experience using standard precision measuring equipment.
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and basic shop math.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with First Article Inspection required.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 is a plus.
• Experience with electro-optics assembly or ESD-sensitive parts is a plus.
