Qualifications

• 5+ years of plant quality assurance / control experience in the food industry, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• B.S. in Food Science, Food Technology, Cereal Chemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork across departments and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain GMP logs and internal audit GAPs with corrective actions.
• Manage audits and inspections by third party inspectors and coordinate with teams on quality programs.
• Oversee preventive controls and foreign material compliance; drive root-cause analyses.
• Handle physical, chemical, and biological findings with corrective actions.
• Maintain a foreign material log per company requirements and ensure traceability.
• Own KPIs related to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee raw and finished goods inspection processes per standards.
• Maintain the Quality Manual as per GFSI standards and keep it updated.
• Coordinate outside service/vendor compliance with policies and standards.
• Achieve and maintain annual Food Safety certification and ensure changes are validated.
• Record daily product reviews and maintain shift logs and documentation.
• Authorize disposition of Hold and Release products per policies.
