Job summary

RTX in North Berwick, ME is seeking a Senior Quality Technical Manager to lead Quality Engineering across multiple business units. The role focuses on delivering leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction to ensure team success and growth.

You will develop and implement quality processes to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety; manage budgets, guide quality systems, and collaborate with design engineering and OEM units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field with extensive experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, or quality.
• Experience leading quality initiatives on a shop floor and in high-stress environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and communicating with all management levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Engineering teams across multiple business units.
• Develop and implement quality processes to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Manage budgets for quality capital and tooling; coordinate with production for material flow and standard work.
• Provide guidance on quality systems and requirements; resolve complex quality issues.
• Collaborate with design engineering, production, and OEM units for production support.
• Identify and implement new technologies to modernize inspection systems.
• Maintain relations with regulators (FAA, DCMA) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement using CORE tools and promote a safe workplace.
