Job summary

Crusoe is hiring a Senior Supervisor, Quality Engineering to lead supplier quality management for contract manufacturing and materials. You will drive risk mitigation, scorecards, CAPA, and traceability to protect product integrity and enable scale.

The role partners with Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to ensure quality during volume ramps and has a safety-sensitive requirement with background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• 2+ years in leadership roles managing team performance and development.
• Understanding of supplier quality best practices and contract manufacturing management.
• Experience developing and implementing supplier scorecards, dashboards, and quality improvement roadmaps.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Safely operate in a safety-sensitive environment and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a supplier quality vision and long-term strategy aligned with goals and risk mitigation.
• Establish programs for supplier selection, development, monitoring, and performance scorecards.
• Implement incoming material reviews, CAPA processes, and traceability protocols for root-cause analysis.
• Establish supplier quality systems aligned with ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements (e.g., UL 891).
• Collaborate with Procurement, Technology, R&D, and Operations to ensure suppliers meet specs during ramps.
• Define and track KPIs for supplier quality and present data-driven insights to leadership.
• Promote a culture of quality and provide training on process improvement and quality matters.
• Conduct risk assessments for critical suppliers and develop contingency strategies.
