Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Technician to support day-to-day quality activities, lead improvement projects, and drive customer satisfaction. You will work closely with Quality Inspectors, Technicians, and cross-functional teams including operators, Mold Technicians, Process Technicians, and Engineers.

The position reports to the Plant Quality Manager. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in industrial, quality, or manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; additional coursework in Mechanical, Industrial or Plastics preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial, quality or manufacturing settings.
• Molding experience required; injection molding experience preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify root causes and drive corrective actions; lead quality improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily production meetings and resolve quality issues to reduce nonconforming product.
• Review inspection data and implement improvements as needed.
• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate root causes of quality issues and create CAPA.
• Read customer prints and understand design tolerances, GD&T.
• Create and update inspection documents, ECR/ECO, PFMEA.
