Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a skilled Mold Technician to join our production team in Minnesota. You will set up injection molds, configure equipment, run safety checks, and troubleshoot to assure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include installing and aligning molds, calibrating process parameters, maintaining preventive maintenance, and documenting data. Ideal candidates have 4 years of combined experience in molding and setup, plus strong mechanical and reading blueprints skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Post-secondary education or certification in injection molding technology, plastics engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of combined experience: 1+ year as Mold Technician and 3+ years as Set-Up Technician
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure injection molding machines per production schedules
• Install and align molds, calibrate process parameters, and program machine controllers
• Set up auxiliary equipment including robotics and material handling systems
• Manage raw material handling and processing according to specifications
• Perform quality control inspections and troubleshoot production issues
• Document process data and production metrics
