Job summary
Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering lead for System & Core Technologies.
You will head cross-functional Operations teams through product development and high-volume production, ensuring readiness across DFx, DFm, Test, SQE, PQE, and related functions with OEM partners. You will guide process development, documentation, and validation, drive quality metrics, and deliver Product Quality Plans.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Quality experience in NPI/Design/Manufacturing Operations
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (international/domestic)
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Operations technical teams during product development and high volume production
- Drive quality improvement opportunities for future products
- Establish and monitor Product Quality Plans (PQP) and Quality metrics
- Coordinate with OEMs and offshore manufacturers for ramp readiness and process validation
- Provide regular communication of technical health of programs to executives
