Job summary

Bevi is seeking a Senior Sustaining Quality Engineer to join the quality team in our Boston-area facility. You will lead quality initiatives, drive design changes, and apply APQP to ensure Bevi products meet high reliability standards.

You will work with sustaining engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams, triaging issues and guiding supplier quality programs, with a focus on data-driven improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years minimum work experience as Quality Engineer or 2–3 years at Senior QE level; sustaining experience preferred.
• Strong leadership with growth and change in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and data presentation skills for all levels.
• Deep knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, quality plans, PPAP, and 8D problem solving.
• Experience with SPC tools and improving supply chain reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality team to identify issues and drive design changes and ECOs for production products.
• Serve as SME for Customer Care and Field Service to triage quality issues.
• Apply APQP to product, process, and supplier changes to reduce risks.
• Lead setup and upkeep of CTQs, PFMEAs, quality control plans, MSA/GR&R, FAI, and Ok2Ship.
• Ensure strong manufacturing quality via process controls and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to qualify suppliers and manage changes.
• Act as liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing and Suppliers to ensure requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional Root Cause Analysis for manufacturing or end-customer issues.
• Regularly publish quality KPIs and other metrics to leadership.
• Maintain supplier quality data and drive continual improvement activities.
