Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a skilled Quality Engineer to drive conformance across development and production for aerospace space systems. You will establish and maintain the quality system, perform audits per AS9100, and lead root cause analysis with cross-functional teams to prevent defects and improve manufacturability.

The role requires collaboration with design, production, and program management, and offers shift options (Fri-Sun) to align with business needs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/Science required.
• 5+ years’ proven experience in a Quality Engineer role in a production environment.
• Aerospace, space launch, or military/commercial aviation preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 QM System and related quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes for development and production.
• Perform periodic audits of the quality system per AS9100.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions on defects or nonconformities.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to build quality awareness and provide training materials.
