Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality across ExamDeveloper and OnVUE, driving testing strategy, automation maturity, and release confidence for platforms used in learning and certification worldwide.

You will mentor teams, set quality gates, and partner with product, architecture, DevOps, and security to ensure reliable, secure, accessible software while enabling scalable delivery from exam creation to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in quality engineering, software testing, or test automation.
• Experience leading quality efforts for complex web-based, cloud-hosted apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead test strategy and quality planning for new features, platform enhancements, and releases.
• Design comprehensive test approaches across functional, integration, API, accessibility, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and improve automated testing coverage for web, API, and workflow scenarios.
• Mentor quality engineers and drive release readiness and risk mitigation.
