Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Etters, PA to lead quality activities for new product introductions and sustaining programs. The role requires applying ASQ body of knowledge, leading risk management, and collaborating with Design, Process, and Manufacturing to ensure robust quality systems across sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5–8 years of progressive quality engineering or related experience.
Experience leading NPI quality planning, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, MSA, SPC, CAPA.
Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical procedures.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead quality planning and risk management from concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, production release, launch, and sustaining production.
Own quality risk visibility and provide go/no-go recommendations at program reviews.
Define quality deliverables, qualification tasks, ownership, timing, and acceptance criteria.
Serve as trusted quality advisor to Design, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Reliability, Supply Chain, and customers.
Lead Voice of the Customer capture and translate into measurable requirements.
Mentor and develop Quality Engineers and cross-functional team members.
