Job summary

The Quality Engineer plays a key role in advancing the organization\'s quality strategy, working directly with the Vice President of Quality to identify, lead, and execute process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. This role partners with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and cross-functional teams to anchor quality at every stage of production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• 5+ years manufacturing or aerospace quality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCCA, and Lean principles.
• ASQ CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, lead and execute process improvement initiatives across manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process flow documentation.
• Lead process capability studies (Cpk/Ppk), SPC, and MSA to ensure stability and capability.
• Conduct structured root cause analysis and CAPA using 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and cross-functional teams.
