Job summary

ITT Engineered Valves in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen our quality assurance program and support plant processes to meet customer and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes process validation, CAPA initiation, and ongoing quality system implementation.

You will inspect components, review non-conformances, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive improvements and ensure producibility and conformance to drawings and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years in a competitive quality/manufacturing environment or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry in a Quality Assurance function is a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Internal and external certifications in Visual Examination, Polish Inspector, Non-destructive Examination, Green Belt, and Auditor qualifications must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement improvements to strengthen the quality assurance program.
• Develop and train inspector programs and lean technician certification.
• Review non-conformances and disposition of material for site.
• Perform detailed inspection and release of components for production start-up.
• Support process control methods and use SPC/Run/Pareto charts as needed.
• Coordinate supplier evaluations and participate in customer/Regulatory reviews.
