Job summary

ITT Inc. in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Quality Engineer focused on elastomer and PTFE diaphragm products. You will support operations by applying QA skills, ensuring compliance with design controls and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement to meet customer satisfaction.

The role involves process validation, CAPA initiation, and collaboration across plants to enhance capability, product reliability, and supplier performance within ITT’s Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments with QA responsibilities a plus.
• Technical knowledge of elastomer, PTFE, and molding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical journals.

Responsibilities

• Implement and strengthen ITT's quality assurance program focusing on elastomer/PTFE diaphragms.
• Review non-conformances and disposition of returned material.
• Perform detailed inspections and ensure parts meet drawings and specs; approve start‑up releases.
• Develop standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of product.
• Design and monitor process controls (SPC, Run charts, Pareto) in manufacturing.
• Support supplier assessment and drive corrective actions; assist in engineering design reviews.
