Job summary

Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) in Hoboken, NJ, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality plans for its photonics-based manufacturing of quantum machines.

You will develop and maintain ISO-compliant SOPs, perform internal audits, and drive continuous improvement across Optical, Mechanical and Electrical teams from NPI to production. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Optical/Electrical/Materials or related)
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality or Supplier Engineering
• Experience in photonics, optics, laser systems, or high-precision manufacturing
• Knowledge of QA methodologies (FMEA, PPAP, AS9102) and statistics
• Familiarity with system-level integration and product development lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Develop quality plans and inspection criteria for QCi's products
• Lead internal audits and manage corrective/preventive actions
• Drive ISO9001 SOP development and supplier quality improvements
• Support NPI to production with cross-functional teams
• Analyze performance metrics (PPM, OTD) and lead corrective actions
• Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives
