Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Etters, PA to lead quality efforts across NPIs and production. You will translate customer requirements into risk-controlled designs, mentor teams, and drive preventive actions. The role requires strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, control plans, and data-driven quality improvements.

You will collaborate with Design, Process, Reliability, and Supply Chain to ensure robust quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 5–8 years in quality engineering or related roles.
• Experience leading NPI quality planning, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and MSA.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements; strong communication.
• Preferred ASQ CQE or related certifications; global QA/vendor interaction optional.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality planning from concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, and production release.
• Own quality risk visibility and make go/ no-go recommendations at program reviews.
• Mentor quality engineers and drive preventive actions across programs.
• Lead VOC capture and translate into CTQ/CF requirements and traceability.
• Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, capability analyses, and audits.
