Job summary

Peloton is seeking a Senior Product Quality Engineer to ensure hardware products meet high quality standards from design through mass production. You will lead root cause investigations, develop quality plans, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Service teams to mitigate risks and sustain improvements.

Your expertise in NPI, cross-functional leadership, and statistical tools will drive quality across complex electro-mechanical products, with travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or other technical discipline.
• 6+ years of product development experience with 3+ years in a Quality role for complex electro-mechanical products.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and related software tools (Minitab, JMP).
• Deep knowledge of advanced quality tools and methodologies (DOE, MSA, Hypothesis testing, GR&R, CpK).
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams through critical quality issues.
• Ability to translate test results into field predictions and develop test plans.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multi-functional teams through early risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Drive alignment across Quality functions including Supplier, Field, Reliability, and Safety.
• Lead cross-functional response to critical quality escalations to closure using 8D/RCCA.
• Define, implement, and audit quality processes at FATP sites to meet targets.
• Develop predictive models to estimate warranty rates from field data.
• Communicate quality risks, mitigations, and next steps to leadership and stakeholders.
• Influence partners to implement quality improvements for field performance.
• Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
