Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Quality Manufacturing Engineer in Ohio to lead MES implementations and drive manufacturing quality improvements across operations.

You will deploy smart torque tools, automated inspection, and traceability solutions while collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure processes meet customer requirements and optimize productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing MES in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing automation, smart torque systems, and traceability.
• Proven root-cause analysis and corrective actions experience.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead MES implementation across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and deploy quality technologies including smart torque systems and automated inspection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop and standardize quality processes and control plans.
• Monitor processes using statistical analysis to identify improvements.
• Lead root cause investigations and prevent actions to eliminate issues.
• Support new product launches by validating processes and readiness.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce defects and boost productivity.
• Report key quality metrics and train plant personnel on MES and quality systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers and system integrators for long-term sustainability.
