Job summary

Nortech Systems is a leading provider of engineering and manufacturing solutions, seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment and wants to impact lifesaving medical and aerospace products.

You will apply quality assurance methods, lead continuous improvement, and perform internal audits to ensure products leaving Nortech are defect-free. This role emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-functional teamwork, and rigorous process control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or closely related field.
• Five years of professional experience reading engineering specifications in a manufacturing environment.
• Master’s degree or related advanced training preferred.
• AS9100 experience, CAPA and FAI experience ideal.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality assurance methods to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Lead and/or support continuous improvement projects.
• Perform internal audits for the Quality Management System.
• Develop standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation to ensure defect-free products.
• Coordinate and guide corrective actions with suppliers and customers.
• Keep supervisor informed about project status and progress.
