Job summary

Nutanix in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support daily manufacturing operations, drive improvements, and ensure robust control plans. You will work with Operations, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to reduce scrap, improve yields, and resolve DMRs.

You will design and maintain test and inspection processes, lead CAPA investigations, and mentor Quality personnel. The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong communication in English and Spanish, and the

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in quality-related engineering field.
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication.
Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to daily operations—respond to line issues, contain defects, and drive corrective actions.
Develop and evaluate manufacturing improvements based on inspection findings and customer feedback.
Design and maintain workspace layouts for efficient quality laboratories.
Create and update standard work instructions and visual aids.
Train operators and inspectors on assigned workstations.
Lead Lean/Kaizen events and monitor process performance for improvements.
Manage CAPA, DMR, and 8D investigations and document resolutions.
