Job summary

Actalent in Everett, WA seeks a Quality Engineer to lead DfQ activities, DFMEA, risk management, and APQP for electronic and electromechanical products. You will partner with Design Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to ensure design for quality and robust manufacturing.

The role requires 5+ years of quality engineering experience, CQE preferred, and strong V&V, MSA/GR&R skills, with a hybrid schedule (three days in office, two remote) for a contract-to-hire engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering required.
• 5+ years quality engineering experience across hardware/electromechanical/embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of V&V methodologies, statistics, and core quality principles.
• Hands-on DFMEA/PFMEA, MSA/GR&R, control plans, and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead product lifecycle quality plans from concept to launch.
• Own DFQ/DFMEA and traceability from requirements to verification/validation.
• Manage risk files and control plans throughout the lifecycle.
• Define acceptance criteria, test strategies, and CtQ parameters.
• Coordinate with Design Eng, Product Mgmt, and Operations on specs and manufacturability.
• Lead APQP processes including PFMEA, PPAP, and process capability analyses.
