Job summary

Amida Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Engineer to own test strategy and quality outcomes for mission-critical government systems. The role requires 3-4 days per week on-site at a client site in downtown Dallas, TX, with a broader remit across functional, regression, and performance testing.

You will lead defect triage, build automated suites, and mentor junior QE engineers. You will collaborate with product, architecture, and DevOps to ensure secure, scalable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Seven years of professional software quality engineering experience.
• Three years of hands-on UI/API/contract testing with Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Postman/Newman, OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Two years of mobile automation testing with BrowserStack or Percy.
• Two years of experience with UiPath or other RPA software.
• Ownership of test strategy for enterprise-scale or government systems.
• Experience embedding automated quality gates in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience designing testing harnesses for data masking and secure test-data management.
• Experience with Deque axe accessibility testing for Section 508/WCAG compliance.
• Ownership of a test data strategy including provisioning, refresh, and environment governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain end-to-end test strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Lead defect triage across multiple teams and drive root-cause analysis.
• Extend automated test suites and integrate CI/CD quality gates into builds.
• Design and execute mobile automation using BrowserStack or Percy.
• Develop RPA-based test workflows with UiPath or similar tools.
• Create testing harnesses for data masking and secure test-data handling.
• Perform accessibility testing and validate WCAG/Section 508 compliance.
• Define quality metrics and guide release go/no-go decisions.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and DevOps on data management and environments.
• Mentor mid-level and junior QE engineers.
