Job summary

Amida Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer to own test strategy and quality outcomes for mission-critical government systems. This role reports to the program manager and requires 3–4 days on client site in downtown Dallas, TX.

The ideal candidate will drive automation, CI/CD integration, and data-security testing across functional, performance, and accessibility domains to ensure release readiness for public sector projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum seven years of software quality engineering experience.
• Hands-on UI, API, and contract testing with Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Postman/Newman, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Mobile automation testing with BrowserStack or Percy.
• Experience with UiPath or other RPA tools.
• Ability to design enterprise-scale test strategies for government systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain end-to-end test strategies across functional and non-functional areas.
• Lead defect triage, establish severity standards, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Extend automated test suites and integrate into CI/CD pipelines for every build.
• Develop mobile automation with BrowserStack or Percy and RPA test workflows with UiPath.
• Create testing harnesses for data masking and secure test-data handling.
• Perform accessibility testing for Section 508/WCAG compliance and report metrics to guide releases.
