Job summary

MKS is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to partner with Operations, Engineering and internal teams to drive world-class quality culture. You will report to the Sr. Quality Manager and support business and customer needs.

Responsibilities include developing data collection plans, leading cross-functional problem solving, preparing first article packages, leading audits, reviewing data and generating reports. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 5+ years of related quality engineering experience.
• Strong data collection and SPC skills to identify trends.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Able to interpret GD&T and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality data collection plans and inspection/process documentation.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving and quality improvement teams.
• Prepare customer first article packages and translate requirements into internal PORs.
• Lead audits to ensure product and process conformity and document results.
• Review internal and customer data and prepare reports.
• Travel up to 5% of time.
