Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer for the Assembly & Test Value Stream to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for products and processes.

You will guide technical evaluations and data collection to achieve division quality objectives, while interfacing with teams and customers. You will lead initiatives in advanced quality systems, conducts audits, and supports continuous improvement with exposure to aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering required.
• 3-6 years of related experience preferred; ASQ certification desired.
• Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to implement continuous improvement in quality and manufacturing.
• Experience reading technical journals and reporting quality data.

Responsibilities

• Assess quality performance using statistical methods and develop inspection plans.
• Establish advanced quality systems, plans, and quality controls for proposals and projects.
• Perform cost of quality analyses and determine confidence levels for samples.
• Provide input to product development for manufacturability improvements.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality issues and audits.
• Develop sampling plans and reporting forms for quality data.
