Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Quality Engineering Leader to partner with product owners, architects, developers, and cloud engineers to embed quality across modernization initiatives. You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, microservices, and data platforms.

You will execute automated testing across functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT, validate data migrations, and integrate testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting software quality assurance, quality engineering, or application modernization initiatives.
• Experience developing automated testing solutions using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
• Strong understanding of SQL, database testing, and data validation methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners and engineers to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web apps, APIs, microservices, and data platforms.
• Develop and execute automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Validate data migration, ETL processes, and API integrations during modernization.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to define acceptance criteria and quality gates.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis of defects with development teams.
• Establish quality metrics and reporting dashboards to measure release readiness.
