Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an experienced software quality engineer to partner with product teams and cloud engineers. You will design and maintain automated testing for web apps, APIs, and data platforms, ensuring coverage across modernization initiatives.

You will implement tests in CI/CD pipelines, validate data migrations, and drive quality gates with Agile teams. The role requires 5+ years in QA/QA engineering, strong automation skills with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, and a solid understanding of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
5+ years of software quality assurance or quality engineering experience.
Experience building automated testing solutions and CI/CD integration.
Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and data validation.

Responsibilities

Partner with product owners, architects, developers, and cloud engineers to embed quality across the SDLC.
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web apps, APIs, and microservices.
Develop automated functional, regression, performance, and integration tests in cloud environments.
Integrate testing into CI/CD/DevSecOps pipelines for rapid feedback and high-quality releases.
Validate data migration, ETL processes, and API integrations during modernization.
