Job summary

Moog is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Gilbert/Phx area team. You will lead quality efforts for space programs, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and guiding inspection planning and problem solving.

You will work onsite in Phoenix, contributing to cross-functional teams and driving continuous quality improvements using DFMEA, PFMEA, and GD&T control. A strong aerospace quality background and AS9100/ISO9001 experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering/analytical/scientific field.
• 7+ years experience in a quality-related environment.
• Experience with Aerospace Electronics.
• AS9100/ISO9001 and AS9102 experience.
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, assembly, inspection, test, and procurement processes.
• AS9100D QMS management, RCCA, MRB/FRB, customer return handling.
• Experience reading drawings, specifications, standards, regulatory requirements, FMEA/PFMEA, AS9102.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the Quality lead for assigned programs and monitor progress.
• Provide technical support to programs, customers, suppliers, and government agencies to ensure contract compliance.
• Lead cost-effective inspection planning and analysis of contractual requirements.
• Drive corrective actions and root cause analysis to improve processes.
• Support inspection personnel and other interfacing departments to implement procedures.
