Job summary

Poly6 Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer in Eastlake, OH to lead QC operations across sites and drive QMS improvement for aerospace ceramic components. The role focuses on inspection, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement within AS9100-relevant standards.

The ideal candidate will supervise QC teams, maintain consistency in inspection methods, and coordinate with Operations and Engineering to meet shipment goals while ensuring robust documentation and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in aerospace or regulated manufacturing; supervisory QC experience required; multi-site leadership preferred.
• CQE, CQA certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QC operations at Cleveland sites with consistent performance.
• Monitor workloads across sites and balance resources.
• Track QC metrics such as yield, defect rates, and turnaround time.
• Set daily/weekly QC priorities aligned with shipment goals.
• Establish expectations for QC personnel and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the continuous improvement of the QC qualification program.
• Ensure QMS compliance and document inspection consistency.
